First Congregational Church, Ruddle Street, Coaldale, will hold a special Father's Day service at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 17, followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m.

Vacation Bible School will be held July 9-13, from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students ages 3 to those finishing grade 11 are welcome to attend the sessions, which have as their theme, "Adventures on Promise Island - Where Kids Discover God's Lifesaving Love!"Bible lessons, crafts, snacks and song practice are on the agenda.To register for the Vacation Bible School, call 570-645-9426 as soon as possible so materials can be prepared.
