A motorcyclist was flown from a crash at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in Towamensing Township, according to state police at Lehighton.

Police identified the injured person as John J. Kline Sr., 67, of Kunkletown. They said the severity of his injuries is not known.The crash occurred on Firehouse Road, about 280 feet west of Ziegre Drive when a 1996 L9000 operated by Ryan R. Gouger, 25, of Kunkletown, was making a left-hand turn from Ziegre Drive onto Firehouse Road without clearance. The Harley Davidson Ultra Classic operated by Kline was eastbound on Firehouse Road, when it was struck by Gouger's vehicle.He suffered injuries to his left leg and was treated at the scene by a local EMS unit before being flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.Police said Gouger was cited in the crash.
