The Beltzville Lions Club will be putting up Christmas lights in the Weissport Park on Saturday,beginning at 9 a.m.

Rain date is Sunday.Volunteers are needed. The club will be installing approximately half-mile of lights to create candy cane lane walkways and will be building arches for the six entranceways in the park. There will also be a tree to decorate.The lighting ceremony will take place at 6

p.m.Nov. 26.Volunteers interested in helping should call Gail at 610-533-9311.People who need community service hours are also welcome to participate. Community service people should preregister. Small sledgehammers will be needed to pound in the rebar.
