The 5 Mile High Club is a local organization formed to improve the Lehigh River fishery area from the Jim Thorpe Bridge to Bear Creek, a five-mile stretch. The club's main focus is in raising money to stock the rivers and creeks. They also host youth fishing tournaments to ensure the future of the areas commitment to the river.
