2-4 inches of snow Thursday

A winter weather advisory remains in effect from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches are expected.

Snow should begin sometime around 5 am Thursday or shortly thereafter and will become moderate for a time during the mid morning. Most of the forecast snowfall will occur by noon. There is a small chance of a change to rain as it winds down early in the afternoon.

The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and produce scattered power outages.

Winds will gust up to 30 mph late Thursday afternoon. This will result in some blowing and drifting of snow Thursday night through Friday night on the ridges where the highest amounts of snow will fall.
