St. John the Baptist A.R. Orthodox Church of Nesquehoning celebrated Russian Christmas on Saturday morning. Christmas falls on Jan. 7 because many Orthodox Christians follow the Julian calendar, which runs 13 days slower than the Gregorian calendar.
