A blizzard warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. with heavy snow and strong winds.
Snow accumulation will be 18 to 24 inches.
.Heavy snow will continue through the morning and into part of the afternoon. Snowfall rates of 3 to 4 inches per hour are possible for several hours this morning. The snow will diminish late in the day.
The heavy snow will make many roads impassable and may produce widespread power outages due to the weight of the
snow on tree limbs and power lines. Strong winds will lead to blowing snow, reduced visibility, and additional power
outages. Conditions will be life threatening to those who do not take the appropriate precautions.
