Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off sections of Dotters Corner Road in Polk Township as part of an active domestic situation.

At approximately 10:45 a.m. today Pleasant Valley School District was contacted by the Pennsylvania State Police with information that a man was being pursued in the local area. The district promptly secured all buildings based upon advisement of the state police.The district will continue to operate under secure in place until further advisement from the police. The police have closed some roads in an area of the school district. Any student that lives in the affected area of the school district will be held safely in the school building until parents can safely pick up their child.Check back for updates.
