On Friday, the Tamaqua Elementary will be honoring veterans and current military personnel through their first annual Veteran's Day program to be held at the school. The program involves music and poems performed by elementary students.

A social event, sponsored by our PTO, will follow the program for all attending veterans. The program will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Tamaqua Elementary School gymnasium.James J. Fasnacht, Assistant Principal, said, "All veterans and military personnel are encouraged to attend. Immediate family members of students are also welcome to attend.
