A Tower City man found guilty by a jury of biting the nose of another man during a bar fight, was socked with a large medical bill imposed by Judge John J. Domalakes in Schuylkill County court during his sentencing proceeding.

Robert T. O'Brien II, 42, 231 W. Grand Ave., was ordered to pay $14,070 to the Schuylkill Medical Center in Pottsville; $2,213 to Boran and Puzzi, ears and nose specialists, $689 to Pottsville Emergency Physicians; $770 to Pottsville Anesthesia Association; and $53 to RX Shoppe.O'Brien was placed on probation for 24 months, and ordered to pay $59 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, and must have no contact with the victim, Steven Worhacz Jr., of Tower City.The altercation took place in Corky's Bar, Tower City, on Sept. 18, 2010. O'Brien was found guilty by a jury last Sept. 6 of simple assault but his sentence was deferred.Trooper Michael Keating was the arresting officer.Drug seller jailedBrandon Seth Rosado, 23, Shenandoah, who was found guilty by a jury last Sept. 2 of criminal conspiracy, was sentenced by Domalakes to serve three to six years in a state correctional institution and on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia received concurrent sentences.He received credit for serving 67 days in the Schuylkill County Prison.Rosado also must pay a fine of $1,000, pay $300 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, and make restitution of $437 to Bethlehem Regional Lab.Rosado was cited by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force in Shenandoah.Pleads guiltyJames Robert Huntsinger, 33, Junedale, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft of personal property from the motor vehicle of Casey Montgomery parked outside his residence at 34 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve 12 months on probation after receiving credit for spending four days in prison.He also must pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account , and make restitution of $174 to the district attorney's office. Huntsinger was cited by Trooper John Sloboda.Each defendant must also pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
