Local automobile drivers are receiving their safe driver rewards. It is a substantial check in recognition of safe driving for a period of one year. Insurance companies issue the certificates accompanied by the check. The check is proportionate of the insurance paid. The letter accompanying it reads: "For the service in the cause of safety and obedience to the law, the recipient has earned the gratitude of the public, the authorities, and the insurance companies, which offer the gold chevron award."
