One person is dead and 10 others are homeless after the historic, century-old Blue Fox Hotel on Coplay Road, Coplay (Whitehall Township) was gutted by fire on Saturday. Melvin Keyser, 55, managed to escape the inferno, but reportedly suffered an attack and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. He was pronounced dead at 8:20 a.m. The fire reportedly was discovered at about 7:30 a.m. Numerous fire departments from Lehigh and Northampton counties fought the blaze.
