Tamaqua police have filed charges in a May incident involving an alleged drug overdose.

Officers were dispatched to 322 Clarke St. on May 13 to assist medical personnel with a possible overdose. The victim was found in an upstairs room and identified as Jamie Lynn Fritzinger, 31. Two syringes and a bent spoon were also found with Fritzinger.Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia were filed this week with District Judge Stephen Bayer.
