Penn Kidder Council will hold a fundraiser-mixer from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Whispering Pines Catering Hall, Route 903, Penn Forest Township at Penn Forest Fire Co. The event is cohosted by Blue Mountain Moments. The event will also act as a fundraiser for two charitable institutions locally, the Penn Forest No. 1 Fire Company and the local food pantry. The event is free of charge but there will be raffles, with all proceeds being donated to the two organizations. Light refreshments will be served. Those attending are asked to bring a non perishable food item as a donation.
