The Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Detachment 626 held its annual Marine picnic recently at Cheese's Grove in Andreas.

The free picnic, which was open to all Marines and guests, consisted of games, music, food and socializing.Commandant Tom Fenon, who is also the new owner of Cheese's Grove, pointed out his appreciation to all the volunteers that helped make the picnic a fun one for local Marines.For more information about the League call (570) 386-2129 or visit
