Rush Township police are investigating the theft of a purse from the Walmart Shopping Center on July 31.

Reportedly, a Tamaqua woman left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot. When she returned a few minutes later the purse was gone.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 668-4242.
