A Kunkletown woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash July 24 at 3:30 p.m. on Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township.

Deborah L. Kropf, 54, was hurt in the mishap, according to state police at the Lehighton barracks.Police said she was driving a 2006 Kia Optima that was unable to stop in time after a vehicle had pulled out from a driveway in an attempt to cross Pohopoco Drive, causing the two vehicles to collide. The other vehicle was driven by Charles B. Rodgers Jr., 51, of Palmerton, who was driving a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer.Kropf was traveling west on Pohopoco Drive about 312 feet west of the Beltzville State Park when the accident happened.Her injuries required an EMS transport, police said.
