Two Monroe County businesses were cited for false alarms.

Troopers said Hilltop Markets, in Tobyhanna Township, was cited for permitting four or more false alarm activations during a consecutive period. The market was cited violations between January and May.Rite Aid in Brodheadsville was cited for the same violation during the period of August 2010 and June.
