State police at the Pocono barracks reported on crashes on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
• Grace S. Shaner, 21, of Exton, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle crash at 5:06 p.m. July 23 on the turnpike. The crash happened near mile marker 71.9 in East Penn Township.
Police said she was driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra southbound when it struck the rear of a 2019 Ford Explorer driven by Kristen J. Zeek, 44, of Yardley. Police said the Elantra sustained heavy front-end damages while the Explorer had minor damages.
Neither driver was hurt, nor were two passengers with Shaner or three passengers with Zeek.
• Gisselle Cruz, 39, of Allentown, and a passenger, escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 10:57 a.m. July 20 on the turnpike.
Police said she was driving a 2019 Ford Explorer southbound at mile marker 78.7 in Franklin Township when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. The Explorer struck a guide rail and concrete center barrier.
