Low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration are available to help people affected by the Fountain Court fire on June 25.
Small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, aquaculture businesses, and private nonprofit organizations affected by strip mall fire in Pocono Township, Monroe County, may apply.
Applicants in Monroe County and the adjacent counties of Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northampton, Pike and Wayne in Pennsylvania; and Sussex and Warren in New Jersey are eligible. To assist businesses affected by the disaster, the SBA has a Business Recovery Center at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville.
Hours the center are open:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The center will close permanently at 4 p.m. Aug. 3.
