The Coal Miners Heritage Festival planned for this Sunday has been canceled due to the forecast of heavy rain storms.

Instead, a combined Coal Miners Heritage Festival and Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 3 at No. 9 Coal Mine and Museum in Lansford.
