The Shoemaker-Haydt Unit 314 American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the post home at 381 Bridge St., Lehighton.

Unit President Susan Rhoads Procina recently presented the American Legion Auxiliary Department of School Award at the Lehighton High School awards assembly.

The recipient was Lilly Andreas, who was also the eighth-grade girl recipient. Lilly is the daughter of Danielle and Nathan Andreas of Lehighton.
