A man has been charged with firing a BB gun pistol from a truck at another man riding a bicycle in Lehighton.

Borough police were dispatched at 9:40 p.m. May 10 to Gypsy Hill Gardens for reports of a man, Daniel Reedy, 24, in a black pickup truck shooting a BB gun pistol out of the window at another 24-year-old man on a bicycle.

Police seized a BB gun pistol fitting the description given by the man on the bike.

Reedy was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Charges were approved by the Carbon County District Attorney’s Office and filed on Reedy.
