Walnutport has decided to pay its full-time police officers the rest of their unused time.

Borough council unanimously voted last week to pay out police an unspecified amount for unused holidays from 2022.

In January, council on a 6-0 vote agreed to pay its full-time police officers $7,348 for unused vacation and personal days from 2022.

However, council tabled paying the officers for their holiday days at that time.
