State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers over the past weekend.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, about 11:42 p.m. troopers stopped a vehicle operated by Mikhail J. Artamonov, of Polk Township, along Hill Top Road, in Polk Township, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.About 2:58 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, troopers stopped Luis Mariano Rivera, of Saylorsburg, along Blue Ridge Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He wa found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
