A woman is dead following an early morning fire Thursday in Ross Township.

Monroe County coroner Tom Yanac Jr. said that a woman died as a result of the fire.

The fire was called in as a working structure fire with entrapment at 3:58 a.m. at 276 Owl Hollow Drive in Saylorsburg.

Multiple fire companies responded to the scene.
