A fishing derby for ages 1-15 will be held Saturday at the Ashfield Playground, 390 Blue Mountain Road, Ashfield. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the contest runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is an entrance fee.

All proceeds benefit the Ashfield Playground Association.
