The Citizens’ Fire Co. No. 1 of Weatherly is accepting applications for the Richard “Toro” Knepper Scholarship at the fire house, 107 Spring St., before May 9.

The scholarship is open to Weatherly Area High School seniors who are involved with EMS or fire service, or is the child or grandchild of an active or honorary member of the Citizens’ Fire Co. Applications are available in the office at the high school.
