Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David J. Moylan has provided additional information about a fatal farming accident in West Penn Township.

Larry Faust, 73, of Cold Spring Road, died of blunt force trauma to his chest and heart, Moylan said.

He conducted a CT scan “virtual autopsy” of Faust’s body on Monday.

Moylan ruled the death accidental.

The accident happened when a large bale of hay, weighing about 600 pounds, tipped over onto Faust as he was moving it with a tractor, Moylan said.
