Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action last week:

• Approved $650 to have the annual service completed on the emergency generator at the Mahoning Valley Fire Company.

• Ratified the advertisement of public notice agriculture security area.

• Approved the receipt of Louisa Steel Ag security modification (64.359 acres).

• Approved a 90-day extension until July 30 for the Banning subdivision.

• Awarded sealed bids for road materials to Lehigh Asphalt, and fuels to Suburban Propane.

• Agreed to advertise and schedule a recycling shredding event.
