Man charged with threatening to kill another

A Kunkletown man has waived charges for court after throwing a metal lamp and threatening to kill another man in a domestic dispute.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by state Trooper Joseph Richards of the Fern Ridge barracks, in the case against John Tutko:

At 6 p.m. March 31, police was dispatched to the 5000 block of Hickory Lane, Chestnuthill Township where a man said he was involved in an argument with Tutko, 59.

The man said that Tutko threw a metal lamp at him, but it missed. He said Tutko then threatened to kill him.

Police said Tutko appeared to be intoxicated, and said that nothing happened.

Tutko faces charges of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, and harassment.

Tutko is incarcerated in the Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 monetary bail and had a preliminary hearing Friday before District Judge Colleen Mancuso of Brodheadsville.
