Two full-time police officers for Weatherly borough, Sofia Hantz and Ashley Harris, were sworn-in by Mayor Paul J. Hadzick on March 3. They had been working part-time.

They join the force to fill a need by the Weatherly Area School District for school resource officers.

The school district started paying the borough for police officers at the end of February.

New Eagle Scout Tyler Fosburg, of Weatherly, received a proclamation from the borough congratulating him.
