John A. Marcinko, business manager of the Upper Dublin School District in the Harrisburg area, was hired last night to succeed Lenny L. Flank as Lehighton’s school business administrator.

The directors approved with regret Frank’s request for a sabbatical, followed by retirement. Flank, 52, who was hired by the district on May 18, 1989, is leaving for health reasons.

Dr. Shirley Ball, school superintendent, said Marcinko, who was hired at a salary of $52,000, has tax and auditing experiences and is versed in school law and codes.
