West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Monday morning:

• Awarded the 2023 pipe bid to Fry’s Plastic in the amount of $47,070.

• Revisited discussion on the peddling/soliciting ordinance. The ordinance was adopted in 1993, and the board agreed it needs to be updated so that it can regulate such activity.

• Announced that an Easter Egg Hunt will be held for township residents ages 1-12 at 1:30 p.m. April 2 at the Andreas Sporing Club. The event is sponsored by the West Penn Lions, Andreas Sporting Club, West Penn Fire Company and VFW.
