Lehighton Area School District is holding a Pre-K open house from 4-6 p.m. today at the elementary center.

The program is open to children who reside in the district and are 3 or 4 years of age by Sept. 1, 2023 and whose families financially qualify per the federal income guidelines.

It is available at no cost to families through the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts grant, but space is limited.

According to the district, students can learn and grow through a fun and engaging curriculum including letters, colors, pre-math, music, rhyming, matching, opposites, health, science, art, self-esteem and social/life skills.
