Muddy waters, more snow on the way tonight

Mahoning Creek was high and muddy Saturday morning after Friday’s rainfall. More bad weather is on the way. It will be cloudy this afternoon with a chance of rain/snow showers. The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for snow tonight. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible in Carbon and Monroe counties. The weather advisory is in effect from 7 tonight to 7 a.m. Tuesday. Rain is expected to change over to snow by 10 p.m. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
