Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 on Route 873 in Washington Township.

State police at Bethlehem identified them as Brittany M. Cole, 26, the driver of one of the vehicles, and Tyler D. Nunemacher, 22, of Northampton, a passenger in the vehicle.

Police said the crash happened when a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Zachary Ewaniuk, 69, of Whitehall, was stopped in the northbound lane, facing south, when Cole was driving a 2020 Kia Forte southbound.

Police said Ewaniuk began to make a U-turn and was struck by the Forte. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Ewaniuk was cited for the crash.
