Walnutport Borough Council, on a 6-0 vote, took the following action last week:

• Approved payment No. 3 in the amount of $200,143 to Bellview Pump LLC.

• Agreed to pay Rottet Motors $46,710 for 2022 F-350 Chassis and snow plow that were previously approved and just came in.

• Agreed to purchase a new computer for the borough treasurer’s office in the amount of $1,520 plus travel and on-site time.

• Announced that the part-time assistant secretary position has been advertised.

• Announced that open seats still exist on the planning commission (one seat); zoning hearing board (one alternate); Uniform Construction Code Appeal Board (three seats); Civil Service Commission (one seat); and recreation board.
