Sarah Shook of Walnutport has been accepted to participate in The Washington Center’s competitive 2023 Inside Washington seminar.

The one-week fully funded seminar will be held in Washington, D.C., Jan. 3-11. Shook is studying Political Science at Albright College.

During the weeklong seminar in Washington, D.C., students from across the country will interact with experts and public figures, explore different career paths and go behind the scenes of organizations in the city where history is made. The bipartisan program’s aim is to help college students understand the impact of the political process and see how they can play a role in shaping democracy as citizens, students and professionals.
