Kidder Township’s 2023 budget of $2,293,747 keeps taxes at 3.65 mills for general purposes, 2 mills for the fire companies, and 1.3 mills for the ambulance.

There is a local services fee of $52, of which $5 goes to either the Jim Thorpe or Weatherly Area School Districts. The Earned Income Tax remains at 1% and so does the Real Estate Transfer Tax – both shared 0.5% with the school districts.

The budget includes a $50 mechanical device tax per machine and an amusement tax of 4%.

Supervisors also voted to have Kirk, Summa & Co. provide the audit of 2022’s transactions.
