The Monroe County recognized Bonnie Ace-Sattur, who is retiring as head of Monroe County Courthouse human resources.
Sharon Laverdure, commissioners chairman, presented Ace-Sattur with a certificate as special proclamation.
“There have been a few challenging moments, but I have enjoyed it and I’m going to miss everybody,” she said.
Other business
• The Monroe County Area on Aging reappointed the following to the American Seniors RSVP Advisory Council: Tracy Fox was reappointed until Dec. 1, 2025 and James Olizarowicz d until Dec. 31, 2025.
• Chief Clerk Greg Christine was authorized to advertise a notice of sale of confiscated or abandoned weapons in the Sheriff’s Office
• The following Change Order for the Courthouse Renovation/Expansion Project: EC-003 Wind Gap Electric - $73,747.85; Prime #002 - CMG of Easton - $2,198.68; accepted a quote from Tri-Boro Fencing Contractors in the amount of $12,356.00 (Costars) to install a security privacy fence at 701 Main St.
• The commissioners approved the 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of $114,735 for the period of Oct. 1, 2021, through Sept. 30, 2022.
• The commissioners accepted a quote from Tri-Boro Fencing Contractors in the amount of $12,356 to install a security/privacy fence at 701 Main St.
