A man wanted in Lehigh County was taken into custody during a traffic stop in West Penn Township in October.
According to West Penn Township police, officers stopped a vehicle on Oct. 20 after receiving a hit on the license plate reader for a suspended registration.
The driver, identified as George Louis Reyes, 41, of Allentown, also didn’t have current insurance or a driver’s license.
A check of Reyes found that he was wanted in Lehigh County and by state probation.
Reyes was taken into custody and jailed in Schuylkill County Prison on the warrants.
The passenger, who owns the vehicle, Sequoia Dennis of Tamaqua, was cited and the car was impounded.
The same vehicle was impounded on Sept. 22 after she was caught speeding and driving without a license.
