Weatherly Borough has approved a tentative budget with no tax increase.

The only increase is $5 per month in garbage fees.

The $6,384,567 budget will be presented for final adoption at the regular December council meeting on Dec. 28.

Borough manager Harold Pudliner will send letters to local banks seeking rates for a tax anticipation note, for consideration in January.

Also in January, the borough newsletter will again be included with utility bills. Council member Norm Richie requested the change; earlier this year council voted to post the newsletter only on the website.
