Summit Hill Little League Association members have announced the purchase of the Little League playing field from the Blue Ridge Real Estate Company.

Arrangements for the purchase of the lot as well as several other pieces of land and buildings in the borough have been completed for a price of $2,942.25.

Joseph Carnish, league president, said a $2,000 loan from the Summit Hill Trust Company will help the league pay for the purchase.

Other league officers are James Boyd, vice president; Clem McLaughlin, secretary; Homer Mantz, treasurer; Russell Anstead, assistant treasurer; and Edwin Hoffman, player agent.
