Weissport will have a Christmas parade and tree lightning ceremony Sunday.

The parade starts at 5 p.m. and winds through the borough’s streets, ending at the borough park.

Santa will sit with children at 6 p.m., and there will be free hot chocolate and the lighting of the Christmas tree.

In other business, borough council is looking to purchase new computers and QuickBooks for the new secretary, Aimee Shank, as well as for garbage billing.
