• Don’t ever share with anyone an online banking username and password.

• Use strong, unique passwords especially for mobile payment apps like PayPal, Venmo or CashApp.

• Don’t re-use a password. Create a different password for each account.

• Don’t show online or mobile banking account information to anyone.

• Don’t let someone use scare tactics or manipulation to gain access to bank account or any account information.

• Beware of scammers. They have falsely used a bank’s phone number to get a person to answer the phone. A bank will never ask for private account information over the phone. Instead, hang up and call the bank.
