Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Mahoning Township this morning shipped 13 trees to the White House, ranging from 8-15 feet, and on Monday the business will ship a 24-foot Douglas fir to Harrisburg to be put on display at the Capitol Rotunda.

Chris Botek, owner, said Crystal Spring provided a tree to be the National Christmas Tree in Washington last year, but the same firm cannot provide the National Tree two years in a row.

But a representative of the White House called Botek and ordered the trees that will be used this year for the lobby of the White House, in Cross Hall and the East Room, as well as other “prestigious locations” around the White House.
