Mr. and Mrs. Steve Babinetz, Lansford, were honored for their outstanding services to the Carbon County Heart Association during the annual dinner of the organization held Friday at the Blue Ridge Country Club.

The couple, for nine years, headed the heart fund drive in Lansford, during which much time and effort was given by the volunteers.

They were presented a marble desk set by James DeVore, Palmerton, president of the county association.

Babinetz was chairman of the county heart fund drive in 1955 and is a member of the county’s fundraising committee.
