Northampton Community College is offering free virtual information sessions about the Community Health Worker career on Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. and on Nov. 10 at 1 p.m.

As a CHW, you will help people overcome barriers to care by linking them to their local community resources.

The Affordable Care Act mandates that CHWs are to be members of health care teams in patient-centered medical homes or in accountable care organizations, causing this to become a growing field.
