• Heritage Hill Senior Community, 800 Sixth St., Weatherly will hold a drive-thru Trunk or Treat on Oct. 21, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Let the kids get dressed up in their favorite costumes and bring them for a safe trick-or-treating experience.

Cruise through to collect something good to eat; cars will be decorated in spooktacular fashion and parked outside the senior living community.

• Lansford is having its 3rd Annual Halloween Festival at Ashton Park (aka Lansford Pool) on Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For children from Lansford, Summit Hill, Coaldale, Nesquehoning, Tamaqua, Lehighton and Jim Thorpe. There is no charge to attend and there will be free food for kids 12 years old and under. There will also be trick-or-treat tables.

• Coaldale borough will have a Halloween party in conjunction with trick or treat on Oct. 30. Events start at 4:30 p.m. at the Coaldale Complex, but will be indoors if it rains.

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

• The Rush Township Board of Supervisors is sponsoring a free trunk-or-treat from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Hometown Farmers’ Market parking lot, 125 Mahanoy Ave., Tamaqua.

• Owl Creek Reservoir fall festival, 1 p.m., Oct. 15. 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Features foliage and haunted hayrides. Pre-sales for the haunted hayrides will be held Oct. 12, 13 and 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Tom’s Auto and Marine, 250 S. Greenwood St., Tamaqua. Rain date is Oct. 22.
